It's about access.
Often, trans/gnc events revolve around elements of medical transition, but our community needs so much more in the way of affirming services. Knowing where to get a haircut, or a massage, or clothing, in places where we will be welcomed and affirmed can be challenging to say the least. We need resources and access to businesses that will show us compassion and respect, and understand the unique needs of trans/gnc folks.
The goal of Trans Turning Point is to create a space where you can meet, talk to, and ask questions of businesses that provide products and services for you. Our hope is to remove any barriers to access so that you can learn about what is available and where to find much-needed non-medical services.
"Where do I get a haircut? Where can I get a massage? Who provides electrolysis?" Our goal is to help make the answers to these questions as simple as they should be by bringing trans affirming vendors to you.
